Amit Mendelsohn - VideoWebGate: -founder and CTO in charge of technology development. Mr. Mendelsohn, a world renowned expert in the field of digital video, owns and runs a consultancy business, which provides services for companies, developers and startups around the world.
Mr. Mendelsohn has served as the CTO of several international projects, among them the London based Regency Foundation's global outreach "Telecommunication in Action" program. He was also the CTO of a number of start up companies, including: On-view and VideoCell; and the chief systems architect of Cobrador, an Israeli internet security company.
Mr. Mendelsohn was a founder member and the CEO of Video2b Ltd., a digital software and hardware company. He is the founder and owner of Amitm.com, a leading digital video solutions provider. In his capacity as a freelance digital systems consultant, he is currently employed by a number of companies, including Mediamen (USA/Canada) and Two2Date (USA/Israel). He has also developed numerous video broadcasting and IPTV solutions both for specific projects and independently.In addition, Mr Medelsohn has designed several digital video software programs - including Helperion, a digital online computer reference dictionary - and has written a book on digital imaging and photography. Finally, he is the author of a weekly column in Chief: an on-line magazine specializing in economic and technological affairs.
A graduate of the Israeli army's intelligence corps and an alumni of the Technion, Haifa, Mr Mendelsohn, an architect by profession, has worked for over 28 years in the field of computer systems, specializing in the Internet. Highly experienced, he has for the past 23 years built numerous internet websites, designed internet software and systems as well as provided Internet solutions.
Joseph Haviv - VideoWebGate: Co-founder and COO/CFO - Mr. Haviv has had over 20 years experience in developing, marketing and running large scale domestic and international projects in the fields of land development, trade and communication, hotel management, advertisement and tourism franchise and management consultancy.
Mr Haviv has held several senior management positions. He was the Business Development and Financial Manager of Etech Ventures International, Inc. and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Claircom Ltd, an Israeli development, marketing and investment company. He has also held senior office in a number of development companies, based in Jerusalem, Israel.
Mr. Haviv has served as an advisor on social affairs to the Israel Prime Minister and was a member of the Jerusalem Economic Forum. Mr. Haviv served in the Israeli military intelligence corps; he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Thames Valley University (TVU), London.
